About GMVision Wiki
The GMVision Wiki is an independently owned and operated Wiki about Game Maker, a tool designed for easy game development. Unfortunately, sometimes it is not always easy. You have code errors, questions, and functions that you don't understand, and there are few places that have a large enough database for you to look up all your questions. We hope that we can make that place here, and that our Wiki will grow in time. We know this is a small starter page, but we are working on making more pages in other areas. we figure that if a few people contribute one page per day, or even week, that this Wiki will be very big after a while. If you have worked on this Wiki and believe you deserve credit, please add your name to the credits. Also, for a sample of what a code function page should look like, see this: message_background.

Creating Articles
If you create a page that explains a code function, please omit the parentheses and only include the name of the function (case sensitive). Please also follow the same style as the message_background article. The underscore character is automatically converted to a space, so you will have to put a this code at the top correcting the title text:

Be careful when dealing with functions such as string(), as you will have to link to string (Function) because string refers to the data type.
If you want to make test edits, use the Sandbox.
